As of January 27, 2021, Daviess County is in Orange on the ISDH COVID-19 map. Attendance for athletic events will follow the Orange level of our Athletic Attendance Policy effective immediately. This includes four tickets per WHS student participant (player, band, cheer, dance, NJROTC), 2 tickets per visitor, black and gold pass holders, and WCS staff with ID.

The Daviess County Health Department has graciously waived the two weeks on Red advisory guidelines for all Daviess County schools, provided COVID-19 procedures are followed. Masks must be worn the entire time in our school buildings, even while sitting with your family. Social distancing must be practiced at all times. This should be easy since we are fortunate to have the Hatchet House, one of the largest high school gyms in the country. We ask attendees to adhere to these guidelines or we may be forced to return to the Red level attendance policy. Let’s work together as a community to help save the rest of our winter athletic season.
