Kindergarten Pre-Registration 

Kindergarten Pre-Registration will be held March 2-5, 2021. It is very important that all kindergarten students pre-register at this time to help us prepare enough teachers to keep our class sizes low. Parents are encouraged to pre-register their children at one of our elementary schools (Griffith, Lena Dunn, North, and Veale) between 8:30 am-3:00 pm.

Unsure what school your child will attend? See our District Map that shows the four elementary school districts. Out of District Students will need to also complete the Out of District Request Form.

Age Requirement

In order to enroll in Washington Community Schools, students must be 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2021.

Required Registration Documents

• Your child's birth certificate
• Your child's immunization records
• Parent ID
• Proof of residency (rental agreement, utility bill)

Kinder Camp

Kinder Camp is a 10 day program that prepares incoming Kindergartners to be successful.

Campers learn basic school and classroom procedures, work on motor skills needed at school, and enjoy
social activities with teachers and peers. 

When attending Kindergarten Registration, students will be asked to complete tasks to assess their skills. Based on these results, students will be invited to Kinder Camp by the school!
