Scheduled 2-Hour Delay Wednesdays 2024-2025
Washington Community Schools will have (8) 2-Hour Delay Wednesdays, 1 per month excluding December & May, built into our school calendar for staff professional development.
As a district, we feel it is important to dedicate time for collaboration, focus on data-informed decision making, and best instructional practices. This will allow our entire team of educators to work collectively to provide an educational experience that meets the needs of all learners with a greater levels of impact on student achievement and success.
On these dates, all schools will follow the same procedures and schedule as a 2-Hour Weather Delay. School will start 2 hours later than normal and buses will pick up students 2 hours later than normal. Breakfast and Lunch will be served as usual.
The Pre-Kindergarten program at schedule will not participate, they will run their schedule as normal.

Main doors open at 9:45 am.
