Washington High School Senior Ben Myers has been named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. Ben is one of approximately 15,000 students nationwide named to the prestigious program. He will now be considered for the National Merit Scholarship Award. Scholarship winners will begin to be notified in March. 

Begun in 1955, the National Merit Scholarship Program is entered by approximately 1.5 million high school students each year. The program is an academic competition that recognizes high school students who take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and meet published program entry and participation requirements.
