Veale Creek Theatre Summer Arts Camp
June 19th through June 23rd from 9 am to 3 pm.
Dear Parents,
Veale Creek Players will be offering a summer arts camp, catering to campers ages 8 to 18 who want to immerse themselves in the PERFORMING ARTS. Our goal is to enable theatre-loving kids to develop their confidence, character, and presentation skills through ensemble performance.
Julie Wadsworth will be directing the camp once again this year. Our previous summer camp produced Newsies, Jr. This year we will be presenting Singin’ In The Rain, Jr! We will meet at Washington High School for the camp and performances. As in years past, we will be using Talking Points to communicate with parents. She uses this in her classroom and it’s so helpful.
The camp consists of 5 days (30 hours) of instruction in singing, acting, and dancing. The program will culminate in two performances for family and friends on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. The package includes an official Veale Creek Players Kids Camp t-shirt and 2 tickets for one show performance. Additional tickets may be purchased. The program is open to all skill levels with no previous experience necessary to enroll.
The camp will be held on June 19th through June 23rd from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. Cost is $75 and $50 per sibling. Lunch is included through the WCS summer lunch program. If you are interested in enrolling your child in this camp, please fill out the slip at the bottom of this letter and mail it with payment to:
