Washington Community Schools has prepared me for both the successes and the adversities that I have experienced both personally and professionally and I trust it will best prepare my children as well.

WCS teaches students about diversity of cultures, classes, interests, clubs and it prepares them for their next steps whether that be entering the workforce through their vocational training programs or preparing to advance careers through college education. It also offers so many extracurricular activities and clubs that kids can test their interest while building character and growing to better themselves.

I am a proud parent of 4 WCS students and I am thankful to a community and school that strives to make it the best it can be. I've always been a firm believer of "Bloom where you are planted" and WCS is where we have put our roots.

what makes our schools great Holly

Washington Community Schools is home to us. My husband Josh (2002) and I (2003) both graduated from WHS. We are high school sweethearts and have been married for 18 years. We have two daughters (Elaine and Abi) who attend WCS, and one future Hatchet at at home (Riley).

We love so many things about our school. We have dedicated, resourceful, and loving teachers. We have amazing coaches and a great athletic department. Our school is always moving forward and trying to improve in every way. We believe our school partnered with us as parents and our local church will equip our 3 children well for life outside of school.
