Parents will receive a bag filled with fun activities they can do with their child to help prepare students for a great start to the school year.
We kindly ask that parent(s) attend this meeting without their children if possible so they can learn more about all Washington Primary has to offer. Childcare will not be provided.

Dual Language Immersion education integrates oral and cognitive academic language development in both English and Spanish while mastering grade-level knowledge and skills in all elementary content areas. This integration between both languages fosters the essential building blocks for students to develop into bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural students.
K5 Program
The K5 Program is designed for “young 5’s” - children who turn five between February 1st and August 1st. However, it is also available to any student eligible for kindergarten who may benefit from a gentler introduction to school.
This program is not a replacement for kindergarten but rather a preparatory year that helps bridge the gap for children who could use extra time to grow socially, emotionally, and academically before entering a full kindergarten classroom.
