Kindergarten Pre-Registration 2023-24
Pre-Registration will take place February 23 - March 3, 2023
It is very important that all students who will be attending Kindergarten in the 2023-2024 school year take part in Pre-Registration. Each child will receive a bag full of learning games and activities to help your child be successful in school. We look forward to meeting your family, and welcoming our newest Hatchets!
Any student who will be at least five years of age before August 1, 2023 is eligible to attend kindergarten. Pre-Registration is by appointment only, afternoon and evening appointments are available.
Please bring:
- Parent's or Guardian's Driver's License or Government-issued ID
- Immunization Records
- Birth Certificate
- Two Proofs of Residency (Rental Agreement, Utility Bill, etc)

Dual Language Immersion - Inmersión en Dos Idiomas
Washington Community Schools, in partnership with Indiana University, are proceeding with plans to launch a Dual Language Immersion program beginning in the Fall of 2023. There will be an informational meeting on January 30, 2023, at 6:00 pm for parents/guardians to learn more about the program.
Las Escuelas de la Comunidad de Washington en conjunto con la Universidad de Indiana han comenzado los planes para iniciar un programa de inmersión en dos idiomas a partir del otoño de 2023. Habrá una reunión informativa el 30 de enero de 2023, a las 18:00 para cualquier padre/tutor que desee obtener más información sobre el programa.
