The Washington High School Class of 1971 held their 50 year Reunion September 17-19, 2021. It was an eventful weekend which included a tour of Washington High School and North Elementary.
The Class of 1971 created a Legacy Fund to give back to their alma mater. They presented the Golden Pride Marching Band with a donation of $5000.00. These funds will be used to purchase new instruments.
They also presented Mr. Tom Lee, Principal at Helen Griffith Elementary, with a donation of $700.00 to purchase a 3D printer for their STEM lab.

Members of the Golden Pride Marching Band accepted a check for $5000.00 to purchase new instruments. Band members L-R Hunter Emmons, Brayden Garland, Grace Allison, and Alsace Key.
