Washington High School was proud to have Dr. Jenner visit WHS to learn more about our College & Career Academy, created to prepare ALL students for life after high school. We offer a wide variety of academic opportunities and extra-curricular experiences that challenge and support students as they grow their skills and develop their talents.

Students have many opportunities for career exploration with Project Lead the Way courses, project-based learning, and vocational and technical programs. For those entering the workforce or trade school, students can earn industry certifications. College-bound students benefit from Dual Credit courses with our Early College partnership with Vincennes University and rigorous Advanced Placement courses. For those interested in enlisting in the military, our NJROTC program provides leadership and character development opportunities, as well as marksmanship, drones, and competitions.

Outside of the classroom, students can hear from guest speakers from a variety of business and community leaders, participate in our college fairs and job symposium, go on industry field trips, participate in internships and job shadowing, and develop career and leadership skills by joining a school club or organization.

Whether students enter the workforce straight from high school, or after years of post-secondary education, Washington High School is committed to providing ALL students with a rich, diverse, and challenging high school experience.
