50 Washington HS students earned a total of $8,600.00 for passing their 2020-21 AP Exams

Washington HS has partnered with University of Notre Dame Advanced Placement Teacher Investment Program to provide high quality professional development and training for our AP teachers. As a result, WHS has seen an increase in AP Exam scores.

AP-TIP is committed to preparing students for the academic rigors of college by engaging them in challenging high school courses in mathematics, science, and English. WHS teacher and students are financially rewarded for their success. Students earned $100.00 for every 2020-21 AP exam passed with a score of 3 or higher. Many students passed more than one AP exam, earning up to $400.00. Students wh already graduated received their checks directly in the mail.

Because this is a two year program, students are eligible for stipend again this year. After this eyar, WHS will be looking for local partners who would be interested in supporting the program.
