What do I need to become a School Bus Driver?
- Enjoy working with kids
- Good driving record
- Class A or B Commerical Drivers License with P & S Endorsements
- DOT Medical Certification
- Indiana School Bus Driver Certification
- Clear Background Check
What if I don't have a CDL?
No problem, we will help you get it!!!
- Candidates will be provided with study materials and information on obtaining their permits.
- We will teach you to drive a bus.
- We will take you to the driving test facility and provide the bus.
What's a DOT Medical Certificate?
- To hold a CDL you need a bi-annual medical examination ensuring you are in good health and safe to drive a bus. You will also be subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
- How do I get an Indiana School Bus Driver certificate?
- We will enroll you in this informative 20-hour class that is conducted by the Indiana Transportation Department. Classes are held online.
Starting Pay is currently $43.00 per hour minimum pay and Attendance Bonus!
