STEM/Work Ethic Integration Specialist

POSITION: STEM/Work Ethic Integration Specialist (funded through ESSER-II federal grant for

2021-2022 and 2022-2023)

EXPECTATIONS:

● Serve as an instructional leader in the best practices of integrating STEM/Work Ethics to
enhance and improve student learning throughout the district.
● The selected candidate will have a strong background in Google Workspace for
Education and similar web-based educational digital tools.
● Have the ability to work with a wide range of teachers from K-12, all subject areas, and
all 6 WCS buildings.
● Support incoming teachers to become acclimated and oriented to district software and
other digital systems including but not limited to Skyward and Google Classroom.
● Lead and support teachers in district initiatives to grow Project Based Learning (PBL)
through curriculum development and instructional practice.
● Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate grants designed to
enhance STEM/Work Ethic goals throughout the district.
● Serve as a member of the District STEM Certification Leadership Team.
● Provide direct support/guidance to WIS STEM Teacher Aide.
● Be willing to participate in Google Coach Certification training.
REQUIREMENTS: Indiana Teaching License
